About the Jefferson City Disc Golf Club

Jefferson City Disc Golf Club is about promoting disc golf, playing the sport, assisting the community with building disc golf courses and helping the community through events or projects sponsored by, or ran by the club. We work closely with Jefferson City Parks, Recreation, and Forestry to maintain and build the courses in Jefferson City as well as the City of Holts Summit.

We have raised over $25,000 and 1 ton of non-perishable food items for the Samaritan Center of Jefferson City over the last 9 years through an annual charity event called the Ice Bowl. We won the "2014 Musco Lighting Give Back to the Community" Award from Missouri Parks & Recreation for our work in the community.

We have also donated 10 disc golf baskets to the Special Olympics of Missouri as well as hundreds of discs, working toward getting disc golf as a Special Olympics sport. We have held clinics 2 times per year for the last 3 years to Special Olympics athletes.

We currently help maintain one of the finest disc golf courses in the area at Joseph C. Miller Disc Golf Course and help maintain 2 other courses, 1 at Binder Lake Park Dam Disc Golf Course, the other in Holt Summit, Greenway Park.
